Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth!
The Psalmist calls to creation to fulfill its vocation, its reason for existing: to worship the Lord and give him glory. In this Psalm we see a blending of worship and evangelism. The people of God sing to the Lord and declare his glory among the nations.
How could we do otherwise? If he created us and rescued us from our sin, that's better than winning the Superbowl. That's greater than saving babies. That calls for the ultimate response!
