This intro to the "Undiscovered Jesus" series begins with John the Baptist's confusion over who Jesus was, springing from this incident to our persistent miscalculations about Jesus today. John expected a conquering king, but Jesus healed and preached. Many today expect Jesus to be a nice, cosmic bellhop who will help when we need him and disappear the rest of the time.
