Every church should have the same mission: to make disciples. That's not our opinion, it's Jesus' (see Matthew 28:18-20). And every Christian should memorize these last words of Jesus to his church.
The Great Commission, as Matthew 28:18-20 records it, is the church's prime focus. But this raises the question, How do we make disciples? What does it look like?
This leads into Anchor's core values, because how we live the Christian life will spring out of what we value. So Anchor has 6 core values:
1. All people are valuable
2. The church should love and serve the city (world)
3. Spiritual growth occurs through shared life
4. Introducing people to Jesus is the heart of the Christian mission
5. We owe God everything, so worship is our perpetual passion
6. Leaders are essential to church growth
