It's hard to see the love in a re-gifted fruit cake, but it's not hard to see the love when someone sacrifices their very life for you.  That is Paul's point in this section of Romans 8.  God didn't spare his own precious Son, but allowed him to be the sacrifice for our sins.  If he gave the greatest gift, how will he not give us every other spiritual blessing in Christ?

If you are wondering whether God loves you, read about the crucifixion and what Jesus suffered for you.  It is the ultimate demonstration of love.  If you wonder whether God is for you, ponder the amazing truths found in this chapter!
