The Expressers of God and the Disarming of Satan.
We ought to be the best expressers of God that ever walked on this earth. When I say this you will immediately think that I am talking about the way you look to the world. Though this is definitely part of it, I think that we have erred by accepting (or allowing) into the churches the St. Francis of Assisi heresy that you can preach the gospel without words.
Preaching the gospel while intending to please God in all our actions are inseparable. Preaching is not only the power of God unto salvation, But a divine establishment by which God uses the weakest vessels to disseminate more of himself to the world.
By this I mean we ought to make this our aim in everything that we do, especially in our speech. . . . This is not something you can conjure up by self effort.
“What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us”. A.w. Tozer
Our view of God will both consciously and unconsciously determine how we live—our attitudes, priorities, choices, and even our eternal destiny. When people communicate a distorted view of God they not only make an idol out of Him, everything else gets out of perspective. They embrace a distorted view of God and themselves.
