Every complaint we have should end with: "But God..." Paul was comforted to hear that God was working obedience in the Corinthian church. The Corinthians were lifted from their godly grief when they finally dealt with a public sin that had stained their community.
Sin and the sorrow that flows from it are part of the package when you join a church. How we deal with our sin, how we exhort, comfort and rebuke each other in love is the key to "bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God."
