John the Apostle tells us that God's love pushes fear out of our lives. But the Bible exhorts us to "fear God" over and over again. What's John saying?
This message unpacks the concept of fear in our relationship with God, how we are not to fear and yet to fear. There are two poles to biblical fear: "reverence fear" and "terror fear." The people of God are to experience reverence fear, while terror fear applies to those who follow their own path in life and refuse to submit to God.
