The Persecuted Church

MORE CHRISTIANS ARE DYING FOR JESUS NOW THAN EVER BEFORE...When Jesus says that Christians will suffer persecution, and that people will hate us because we are his disciples, American Christians glaze over.  Persecution seems as remote as Dark Ages.  But consider this little known statistic:  More people have died for Jesus in the past 100 years than the previous 1,900 combined.

Hebrews 13:3 exhorts believers to remember those who are in prison and suffering for their faith.
